Passionate- similarly to her hot-headedness, Ikot tends to care a lot about anything or anyone she cares about. She loves deeply and quickly and tends to be rather trusting, going off of first impressions solely. If she's betrayed, she hardly ever gets mad at the other person, but bashes herself for it, cursing herself for her pig-headedness. She's often found being overly passionate about something others would find trivial- she's passionate about her favorite drinks, about showing her training scars, about getting better in every possible way. She has and always will be incredibly passionate- though the energy does seem to burn her out once in a while. 

Corny-Puns, sweet nicknames and lame one-liners are almost always a part of Ikot's casual conversation. She loves making puns and making other people groan in shame from them, and she sees that as a mark of pun approval. Partially because she sees her ability to influence others as proof that they care about her, but mostly because she loves being in the middle of whatever emotion a group is experiencing. If the group laughs, she wants to be responsible for it. However, this is not the same for negative emotions- she does not strive to cause groups of cats pain.

Sweet- Ikot hardly says mean things to those who haven't hurt her personally or hurt the ones she loves. She's always encouraging her friends and doing her best to make sure that they know how much she cares about them. Though she can be nasty to her enemies or callous o cats she's never met, she tries hard to make sure that her fury is never directed at a friend, even if that friend deserves it. She's always looking for her friends interests, for she loves giving gifts.  

Selfless- Ikot would do anything for the ones she loves, even putting herself on the line. Getting stupidly injured or fighting in absurd scenarios are two of the most prevalent ways she shows her selflessness, but it extends beyond that. despite not being able to sit still for very long, Ikot would stay up all night to listen to another person's problems. She would do anything for her friends, no matter the cost to herself. Though this often comes back to bite her- as, if she's doing all this for her friends, then what time does she have to better herself?- but she nearly always pushes that away. She's passionate about making her friends happy and safe. 

Protective-If anyone hurts her loved ones, Ikot goes apeshit. She does whatever she can to make sure that they are safe from harm and will do anything for them, even if it's wrong. Even if she ends up protecting the 'bad guys'. Constantly, Ikot is striving to be better, stronger, and overall a greater person. She's always there to put her best foot forward- even if her actions are illegal or morally wrong, if she feels strongly that she should do something, there's hardly any stopping her or changing her mind. 

Single-minded- Ikot can really only focus on one thing at a time, and so then she tends to hyper-focus on that. She will chase after something until it's her's with the stubbornness of a mule. Sometimes ignoring other things in the process, as well, such as what her loved ones want. She marches to the beat of her own drum, making sure that she's doing what she thinks is right, bit not necessarily what others agree with. She's the type to take care of someone against their will, even if they're fighting tooth and nail against her. Her stubbornness knows few bounds. 

Hot-Headed- Ikot tends to get really, really upset when she does get upset. She hardly ever is mildly miffed. If she's angry, she's furious. She tends to get physically brutal when she's angry, hitting things or pacing in circles. She's only ever cooled down by those that she cares about or if something big happens- bigger than her anger. Ikot can and will act violently whenever she's enraged, often hurting others in an attempt to give her anger somewhere to go. She devolves into a language with no words, screaming and hissin and spitting. 

Stubborn-it would take a freight train to change Ikot's mind. Once she's set on something, she would hardly ever change it unless something big happens to change her view. If she believes in someone, she will firmly support them no matter what. Oftentimes, her stubbornness leads her to defying logic or moral decisions, as she blindly goes in the direction she's chosen once she chooses it. This can often lead to her own pain, but also can lead to hurting her friends. Her bullish ways often get in the way of her seeing clearly or making well-thought-out decisions. 

Loud- Ikot has no inside voice. She more or less yells everything, and when things get heated she's almost always screaming. She tends to stomp about as well. That being said, if she's proud of someone, she will very vocally express it. She loves talking, and though this wouldn't be a problem normally, Ikot tends to talk over other, quieter people or state a wildly unpopular opinion where all are gathered about to hear. Oftentimes, Ikot's anger can butt into her making friends, as her wild mouth deters people. She tends to insult or intimidate others simply because of how loud she is. 


Backstory:

Ikot isn't entirely sure where she came from. The first thing that she remembers is waking up in a forest with a killer headache around the age of 10, unable to lift her own paws. She wasn't badly injured, but going on how lethargic and hungry she felt, she had been lying there for quite a while. She stood and ended up finding out that she was next to a human city. Even then, her memories are blurry. For quite a while, she simply wandered around from place to place, speaking to few people and spending nights awake and afraid of what might catch her if she stopped running from...whatever she was running from. Finally she couldn't run anymore and she collapsed on a beach somewhere, fading in and out of consciousness. 

When she next woke, Ikot was being cared for by tender paws. It was a persian who was looking after her, and who had apparently adopted her as one of her own. the Cat had two other cubs, and though Ikot wasn't so sure about being adopted like that, she knew she couldn't hold up on her own for much longer. It didn't take her long to love her new family, and they stayed together for the better part of seven years. By that time, one of the cubs had said her goodbyes and had left to find a mate of her own, the remaining cub both too sickly and too inexperienced to strike off on his own yet. Ikot planned on staying with her adopted mother for a good long time before, one fated day, she ran into a traveler. 

They were a strange-looking somebody, looking much like a gyrados, but with the body of a cat. He introduced himself by the name of Tyra and stayed with Ikot and her mother for a few days while he got back on his paws after a long journey across the sea. While he was there, he told Ikot of a wonderful island filled with cats like themselves, pokemon at heart in feline bodies. She was entranced. The traveler left a few days later, thanking them all for their hospitality and heading inland. Ikot made up her mind a few days after that she just had to go to that island- her mother firmly supported her, as the tyrogue pokecat was strong and feisty. She thought that she would do quite well on her own now that she was grown. After constructing herself a raft, Ikot said goodbye to her family and set to sail to this special island, filled with curiosity. 

It took her weeks of searching all the islands that she came to, but finally Ikot made her way to the fated island. It was far more... advanced than she was used to, so a lot of the technology on the island amazed her. She joined the rangers as soon as she could, thinking that a life spent protecting others would be well worth it. However, since coming to the island, things have been... off. Ikot started wandering into the forest and staying there for days, only to return ragged and tired, as though she spent the whole time lurking about without sleep. Her condition had slowly worsened, these trips into the forest leaving blank, empty spaces in her memory. 

Finally, things seemed to come to a head and Ikot collapsed near the Ranger building, where she was then taken to the pokemon center and revealed to be in a coma. However, the nurses couldn't find anything physically wrong with her worse than dehydration, so besides watching her closely there was nothing to do. Ikot, however, was going through some Things. When Ikot woke she had a little memory recovery but honestly, not much. She remembered traveling through her own mind and helping the fragmented pieces of her mother's mind let go and leave her be, but as for her past before she awoke in the forest, she still has no recollection from then. When she awoke, she laid in the bed and stared up at the ceiling for a long time simply thinking about everything that had happened before she was released. Immediately upon leaving the pokemon center, her body was engulfed in light and she evolved into a Hitmontop, gaining a tail but not much height.

Shortly after Ikot was released, she was pondering things. Things mostly spurred on by the speeches occurring around the town- about peace and infrastructure. It occurred to her, then, that- though she hadn't participated in the mass expulsion of the rockets- she didn't want to hurt others. The violent rage that had spurred her on before was gone completely, and with it she felt a restlessness and a need for peace. So, with that single-minded view (and the news that she had lost her dear friend Edna while she was out) she accepted the pledge onto team Plasma.

Bart didn't know quite what to say. Ze stood there, hir mouth open as Klonoa spoke, and even after she had finished, Bart found hirself speechless. It took a few moments, but the rocket regained hir senses and shook hir head wildly before hopping forward and wrapping hir paws around Klonoa's neck, though ze was careful not to hang off of her neck or put more strain on her injured leg. Ze felt tears welling up in hir eyes and ze smiled, a sincere, warm smile. "Yes! Yes of course we can be friends!!" ze said, laughing through hir tears. 
Releasing hir hold on Klonoa's neck, ze stepped back a bit and lowered hir ears, smiling still. "I mean, if i do get you in trouble- which I won't- then i will defiantly take the hit. after all, I can't loose my job. all they can do is put me in prison." ze said, laughing. 
Bart couldn't quite comprehend the sacrifice that hir friend was making for her, considering her job and the position that all of this put her in. "And truly, if I do cause you any trouble, then I am so sorry- in advance." ze said with a nod and a nervous laugh. "do you want to maybe go and see what sort of ice cream stands we can find?" ze asked,a hopeful smile on hir face. Bat adored treating hir friends to food, no matter what was going on, seeing as ze always had the money to pay for it.
